Few words about "smileys"...

Most popular "smileys" are here.
Smileys are very popular on the Net, but there's no convention on how should they look. This leads to a quite big liberty - in my opinion, unfortunately too big. Below you may find few of my opinions on they look.
Most popular kind of "smiley" is the happy face. That's how it is written:

Well, this really looks like a happy face - and that's what we needed.

However, I prefer something like this:

:^)

This snub nose makes it much plastic like (even three-dimensional!!!). Some people will probably say it's a face with a broken nose - and that's simply a view from a half-profile...

Some people "forget" one character and create something like this:

Well, it doesn't look like a healty face, but like this:

I just have to ask - who crippled him so brutally?!?!?!

Some people think that this look like a grin from ear to ear:

Well, for me this looks like this:

And this is probably an effect of Chernobyl disaster... Or genetical experiments...
